Macrocarpa Garden Post - Kotare or Kingfisher

The native kōtare (kingfisher) of New Zealand is a beautifully coloured bird. Kingfishers are said to be symbolic of freedom, courage, adventure, and balance. This piece features this lovely bird sitting on a branch, It's carved onto macrocarpa and inlaid with coloured glass.
