Macrocarpa Rose

The red rose signifies enduring love. Roses have been around for 35 million years, but have been cultivated in gardens for about 5000 years. When we think ‘special flowers’ we think roses. For this piece, 2 pieces of macrocarpa have been joined, as lovers are, not the same, but they are one. They have been carved and set with beautiful green and red glass, then protected with a durable coating.
